Wow, I haven't posted a journal since November!
Well, here I am with the news that I am, in fact, still alive!
It's just that my work schedule has changed no less than 4 times since November, so I've been constantly trying to settle into a rhythm where I can do the things I need
to do and still have time left over for things I want
to do. Art-wise, I am still working on those commissions I have left to do, and I won't be taking any more for the foreseeable future. I am just too busy to get them done in a reasonable time frame! @__@ I've been doodling a bit to take the edge off my stress, so I have an accumulation of little sketches and things that have been building up since December that I'll get around to submitting here eventually.
In real life, I'm happy to report that I am doing a lot better. I had a couple of emotional breakdowns at work during November, thanks to stress and angry clients, but I have recovered and things are looking up. Once I can get settled into a new groove, I should be a bit more active on DA. Still need to weed through all my 1,500+ deviations cluttering my watchbox since December. I haven't quite been able to bring myself to do it yet. XD
In case any of you are curious, I'm still working on mustering enough gumption and willpower to rewrite some key points of my NaNoWriMo novel, The Infinity Sound.
Basically, I've had a big idea building up recently that will require me to change the species of all the characters, as well as rebooting the setting of the story so that it makes more sense. Other than that, the changes will be fairly minor and I might even begin to post chapters as soon as April.
With that out of the way, here's to a new year! May the next 11 months be productive and positive for everyone!
