Random Character Sketches 3

What? MORE? Why, yes. Don't you know how many characters I have by now?

Out of all of these, I did NOT adopt James, Sarsi, or Kintupsi's Scarfblob form. I designed those guys myself. (Scarfblobs were created by *Smoshen. Check out the rules before you make one yourself, though; they can only have black eyes! [link])

HOWEVER, even though I adopted the designs, most of the characters already had a previous disposition and story. I just like being able to finally draw them!

Take Gabriel Valiant, for instance. (I made him up last year but could never draw him because I couldn't think of a good design. For the record, I LOVE the way he came out here! ) Now Gabriel is a nice guy; very polite, good-humored, talkative, justice-oriented, etc. But he can't follow orders to save his life. He always thinks he knows a better way to do something, and this flaw brings a major complication into his life. (To answer your question: yes, the watches he's holding are important!)

Eli "Griff" Grifton is from the same story as Gabriel (I have trouble naming stories). He is an expert swordsman in spite of being less than 25 years old. He wants to be the leader of the patrol squad he's on, but in the eyes of his superiors, he's too immature to handle the job. So, much to Griff's chagrin, his rival (a martial arts man) gets the position instead.

James is from the same story as Gabriel and Griff. He's Sara's older brother, and an insomniac (accounting for those dark places under his eyes). He's also a little unstable, and can get very wild if something sets him off.

_{The joke here about the "Brotherhoodie" is that so many of these guys have hoodies, they make it their official dress code! XD Since James didn't have a hoodie, Griff gleefully bestows one on him.}

Flax and Ivy are friends, although Ivy really gets on Flax's nerves if she visits for too long. Ivy is a cat; Flax and her younger sister Feather are wolves. (Cider Sunwick is also from this story.)

Verne Berrens is an aviator and also a pretty good tracker and navigator, so he gets recruited onto a team that goes places. Weird, unexplored places. Adventurous things happen, including run-ins with dinosaurs, a daring escape from temple ruins, and an accidental marriage. (I also LOVE the way he turned out here! )




...Scarfblobs make nice space filler.
