Wow, I haven't posted a journal since November! Well, here I am with the news that I am, in fact, still alive! It's just that my work schedule has changed no less than 4 times since November, so I've been constantly trying to settle into a rhythm where I can do the things I need to do and still have time left over for things I want to do. Art-wise, I am still working on those commissions I have left to do, and I won't be taking any more for the foreseeable future. I am just too busy to get them done in a reasonable time frame! @__@ I've been doodling a bit to take the edge off my stress, so I have an accumulation of little sketches and things that have been building up since December that I'll get around to submitting here eventually.
In real life, I'm happy to report that I am doing a lot better. I had a couple of emotional breakdowns at work during November, thanks to stress and angry clients, but I have recovered and things are looking up. Once I can get settled into a new groove, I should be a bit more active on DA. Still need to weed through all my 1,500+ deviations cluttering my watchbox since December. I haven't quite been able to bring myself to do it yet. XD
In case any of you are curious, I'm still working on mustering enough gumption and willpower to rewrite some key points of my NaNoWriMo novel, The Infinity Sound. Basically, I've had a big idea building up recently that will require me to change the species of all the characters, as well as rebooting the setting of the story so that it makes more sense. Other than that, the changes will be fairly minor and I might even begin to post chapters as soon as April.
With that out of the way, here's to a new year! May the next 11 months be productive and positive for everyone!

I Have a New Account
Hello everyone, recently I have made a decision to move accounts. This is very personal to me, as I feel that I’ve grown of out my “Kintupsi” persona and I wanted a new account to start over on.
I made the new account in January and have posted some experimental things already. The reason I waited before telling you all is actually kind of silly--I wanted to see if I would get any watchers without posting fan-art or telling anyone I already knew. The answer to that is: I might have to wait a few years to get another watcher using that method. ~mingplz (https://www.deviantart.com/mingplz)
However, I am proud of the artwork that I’ve posted here, so
2014 Summary
As all my watchers surely know, I haven't been active on DA this year. I had to drop out of most of the RP groups I joined in 2013 due to inactivity, and I haven't drawn much digital art either. However, every weekend at our Bible study, I always have time to sketch in my notebooks. I found this pack of yellow notepads that have been my best friend for the past year and a half or so, so even though the paper is yellow and has lines running through it, I feel comfortable sketching in those notepads and carrying them around with me everywhere I go. ^__^ (I did find the time to scan them in over the past week, and now I just have to compile them

Just thought I would come back from the dead to say...I finished it!! ~lachoirplz (https://www.deviantart.com/lachoirplz) All 50,000 words, right at noon on November 30th! :iconlazypoolplz: I was worried I wouldn't make it, but then I realized that I had gone too far to just give up. Now I can spend the next year rewriting it. :iconlazydieplz:
And since I'm through with that, I can finally devote my spare time to finishing those commissions and art trades and other things that I was supposed to be doing and haven't gotten around to yet. (Sorry about that. ^^;) So I will definit
NaNoWriMo 2013!
That's right, folks, I've joined the bandwagon and have already written almost 2,000 words of my novel! :la: A big thanks to Yrucrem91 (https://www.deviantart.com/yrucrem91) for convincing me to try it out. :D I've been feeling better this week and it really helps that I'm motivated to write this thing. I look forward to each day as a chance to reach my goal.
Here's my site: http://nanowrimo.org/participants/kintupsi and I'll be working like a madwoman on The Infinity Sound this month.
I also have some commissions to finish for kirinoha (https://www.deviantart.com/kirinoha), so between work, NaNoWriMo, and trolls, I'm pretty much booked for the month. Don't expect a whole lot from me in the art dep
